Humza stays!

Transport Minister Humza Yousaf accused of making a perfectly innocuous remark. More seriously, he stands accused of refusing to pander to the increasingly ludicrous efforts of the British parties and their media lackeys to whip up hysteria about the rail service.

I think I speak for many when I express my determination to ensure that this plainly orchestrated witch-hunt does not succeed. Humza Yousaf is a fine public servant. It would be a tragedy if he was to be sacrificed to the bitter resentment of British Labour in Scotland (BLiS); the pathetic last-gasp power-lust of the press; or the maliciousness of British nationalist ideologues.

To all of those trying to bring this man down I say this. We seek a better politics in Scotland. Humza Yousaf is part of that politics. You are not!

Totally agree Peter. I can only assume that they are so scare that Humza is speaking for his constituents and is clearly head and shoulders above the opposition that there is a concerted effort to undermine him.

I hope readers and listeners will show a modicum of common sense and look beyond the hysterical headlines.

We musn’t EVER think of an ethnicity slant on this. Humza is the epitome of the SNP inclusiveness.
Forcing Nicola to remove him from office would be a great victory for the enemies of our Nation.
