When you are confronted by the sickening hypocrisy of the British parties in Scotland, it’s OK to be angry.
When you see British nationalists deliberately sabotaging Scotland’s economy, it’s OK to be angry.
When you see the efforts of our democratically elected government to defend and advance Scotland’s interests thwarted by the pettiest of politicking, it’s OK to be angry.
When you then see the British parties seeking to shift blame for the consequences of their malicious behaviour onto the Scottish Government, it’s OK to be angry.
When you realise that these British politicians are actually proud of having wrecked any chance of a deal that might have been of considerable benefit to Scotland, it’s OK to be angry.
When you recognise that this is how Scotland will always be treated so long as we afford power and influence to those whose imperative is to defend the union and their own interests at any cost to the people of Scotland, it’s OK to be angry.
It’s not just OK to be angry. It’s normal. It’s healthy. It’s essential. It’s a matter of self-preservation. It’s a matter of defending our nation against the malign force of British nationalism.
Be angry! But be clever! Do not allow that anger to turn to directionless rage. Determine now that your anger will have a purpose. Take that anger and use it to power the campaign to bring our government home.
